Liana won my giveaway couples session last month. From the moment I first wrote her, it was like we had known each other for years. We talked about food we loved and of course how much we loved Mendocino county. Ryan and Liana own an amazing property in Elk so of course had to do their Elk couple’s session here. They have acres of forest trees and cliffs over looking the ocean. It was a photographers heaven! Plus, they took me around on what looks like a off roading vehicle from Jurassic Park. What more could a girl ask for? These two fed each other for me, did the move from dirty dancing and literally sprinted for me. Oh, and they gave me squash & a pumpkin from their garden for James and I to eat. Seriously cannot wait to go out and visit them soon. I walked away feeling so very blessed to do what I love with people that I love. This Elk couple’s session was one for the books!

Side note: For all you couples out there they are making their property into a venue in the next coming years. Stay tuned in the future because you better bet once they announce they are opening it I will be all over helping them promote it! (My mom grew up in Mendocino County. I am a Mendocino girl at heart).
