My amazing friend Kelci Wood told me about this couple via Marco polo a couple months ago. She told me that Seth was stationed out in Petaluma with the coast guard like they were years ago and I just had to meet this couple. I am always down to make new friends so I, of course, was excited about the possibility of double date nights in the future with them. Long story short Kelci recommended my photography to them and they booked a session with me. I am over the moon about how in love these two are and how they both have such beautiful heart’s that love Jesus so much. Hailey really wanted pictures of them worshipping together so we made her dream come to life. By the way, I started singing with them while they were worshipping and it was pretty much one of my favorite moments of my job yet. Hope you enjoy Hailey & Seth’s Rodeo Beach session.

Here is their love story as told by Hailey:

“Seth and I met at our church’s youth group when I was about 14 and he was 16. That night he told my friend, “I’m going to marry that girl one day” but she told him I was off limits. So we went our separate ways for about two years, dating other people, but still seeing each other around because we shared some common friends.

Then in 2013, we both started an internship through our church and we got to know each other a lot more then. Through the internship, we had the opportunity to lead worship together with some of our friends. By the end of the internship, we became best friends and knew we wanted to be together. As soon as internship ended, Seth took a job at a Christian summer camp where he had to live for the whole summer. We rarely got to see each other, so we began writing letters and that’s when our relationship with God and each other really hit a new level.

August 2014 is when we began dating and simultaneously our closest friends started a small Bible study at home where we continued worshiping together and learning about who God really is. After a year of tremendous personal and spiritual growth, we got engaged April of 2015 and got married June of 2016. We have received so much favor, calling and revelation from the Lord that our marriage has never had a chance to have a dull moment.

We have lived by two simple rules in our marriage. The first is to “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else and live righteously” Matthew 6:33, and the second is to die to ourselves every single day. Matthew‬ ‭16:24‬” -Hailey
