Hannah & Brady’s Marin Headlands Engagement Session

2/05/2018

I am so excited for you all to see how Hannah & Brady’s Marin headlands engagement session turned out! For those of you who do not know this girl has been my friend for over 5 years. She is one beautiful, loving and kind soul. She was in my wedding and was the first person I texted when I got engaged. Side note my husband proposed to me on this actual beach so it was so much fun to come back with her and her love. I remember years ago Hannah and I would have girls nights with lots of chocolate and talk about what her future would look like. I kept reassuring her someone amazing would come along and that it would make the journey worth it. Now, as someone who was married giving advice to someone who was single at the time, I realize that is not helpful advice at all so from then on I learned to just bring chocolate and be a listening ear. That being said I am so glad she found the man of her dreams. You can tell he makes her laugh and smile more than anyone else in this life. They travel the world together (that was one of her top prayers was to find someone to travel with) and are each other’s best friends. I hope you love their love story as much as I do. Here is their proposal story told by Hannah:

“From very early on, Brady and I had our eyes set on adventure.  Starting with a spectacular visit to Iceland.  Followed by trips to Tahoe, Canada and trips out camping and hiking all over California. This shared passion for exploration even provided the most incredible setting for our engagement as we traveled to Europe this past November.

Before meeting Brady I had set a goal to visit 30 countries before I was 30. With my 30th Birthday around the corner and still two countries to go, I thought it was a long shot to pull it off.  Yet, Brady pushed a trip knowing how important this was to me. My goals were his goals. We decided to head to Denmark and Portugal to get my two countries, with a stop in Spain for a little extra.

After a week of traveling, we found ourselves at Bussaco Palace in Portugal. While there, we went on a beautiful hike overlooking the palace grounds.  It was on that hike that Brady proposed and I said yes to forever.

Brady has changed my life for the good. He always inspires me to be the best possible version of myself and to always keep things fun. He is so steady and so kind, so creative and hard working. He is more than I ever hoped for in a partner and a forever friend! “- Hannah L.
