Elise and I have been talking about putting on a summer dinner party for photographers for probably at least 4 months if not more. We both are firm believers in sticking together as creatives and encouraging one another to grow. We have heard over and over again that this industry is lonely and sometimes cutthroat and to be honest we are tired of that part of it. We want to see this community come together to laugh, eat and yes maybe even vent together (we are each other’s co-workers in a sense and need each other for when times get hard).

For this dinner, we envisioned this amazing boho dinner outside with everyone outside under the trees laughing and of course, eating a lot of yummy food and that is exactly what happened! Elise worked her magic and built the table with the help of her husband. She also potted some amazing plants just for this occasion and provided amazing candles to keep away mosquitos. I bought the table settings, placement cards and prepared the food with the help of my amazing husband, Eli, who is a chef in my book. The two of us pulled off this amazing night! Thank you, Elise, for opening up your home and really your heart to all of us creatives!
