Eli and I started dating over 12 years ago. We met at a concert at a little white church. He was always the guy on stage playing music and I was always his biggest fan that admired him from afar. Finally, after some time our friend introduced us and since then we have been in each other lives. We love to play basketball as a family, hike, travel, eat a lot of Sol Food and garden together. We also love eating screamin mimis ice cream as a family as our treat. (They have non dairy options yay!)
I first went to Joshua Tree 6 years ago and fell in love with how quiet & peaceful it is. There is not much there and that is part of the appeal to it. I have grown to love the natural colors there, adorable airbnb’s and desert charm. I also love that is close to Palm Springs so that you can be in a small town, but adventure to more shops, places to eat if wanted. Hope you enjoy your stay here and cherish it as much as I do too!
Things to do in Joshua Tree:
Visit the Cactus Mart: Buy a cacti to plant at home or just explore the desert store for fun! https://cactusmart.com/
Hike in Joshua Tree either on ground or on the jumbo rocks- https://www.nps.gov/jotr/index.htm
Pioneertown: https://visitpioneertown.com/
If visiting Palm Springs:
Palm Springs Tramway- Visit the mountains- https://pstramway.com/

Natural Sisters- If you want a healthy place that has a lot of great options this is the best place in all of Joshua Tree: https://naturalsisterscafe.com/
Crossroads cafe: A mix of american diner options and healthier options: https://crossroadscafejtree.com/
Pie for the People: Pizza! https://www.pieforthepeoplepizzadicirco.com/
Joshua Tree Coffee: https://jtcoffee.com/
Pro tip: Most places close early so all your left with is fast food options after 3 pm. I would get an airbnb and plan to cook most meals at your airbnb. Grocery shop the first day you are there for dinners and breakfasts and eat lunch out.
