After years of being instagram friends we finally got to see each other in person again! These two have such beautiful hearts for Jesus, the kingdom, the children of the world and of course each other. An honor to meet them and hope we can do a double date in the future! “Years ago, I worked at a nonprofit in San Diego for a year — I was just out of high school and wanted to give a voice to the voiceless. A few years later, Jordan would join the nonprofit, and we would see each other at events, parties, and concerts — without ever meeting.

One autumn, I was photographing a wedding when this red headed guy reached out his hand to introduce himself — “Hi Suzi — I’m Jordan!” I greeted him quickly, but since I was working (and also in long term relationship at the time), I jumped immediately back into work. Jordan later shared with some mutual friends that he had always had a crush on “that Suzi Jacobs girl.”

Four years went by, and while Jordan was sitting in Europe, staring up at Mont du Blanc, he reached out. We began talking and writing letters, all while Jordan was traveling in Europe for work.

One night I asked him if he would like to get coffee when he was in Paris— I had a few weeks off of work, and as someone who was used to international travel, didn’t really think anything of it. I’d go for coffee, and I’d go up to Germany to visit my cousin afterwards.

But once I landed, we had so much fun exploring and talking, I quite never made it up to Germany. I stayed the week and we haven’t stopped talking since.”
