So excited that I finally got my friends to be in front of my camera. This girl and I have bonded over our love for food, Jesus and decor. She is a talented interior designer and has a passion for the minimalist style (my kind of style too!). So happy I got to shoot their anniversary pictures and at the place I got married at, Olympia’s Valley Estate. Here is their love story as told by Skirmante.

“I knew that Mitchell was the person my heart had been longing for the first day I met him and I knew immediately that I would be his wife one day. One year and one week later, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It’s funny how God works. I have always had this strong pull that kept leading me to California, I somehow knew that my husband lived here. Four months after moving to Sonoma County from Chicago, I met the one. 
This September 6th marks our one year anniversary, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to enjoy life with. He is gracious, loving, patient and will be an amazing father one day. I love you more than words can express.
