5 Thoughtful wedding favors to give your wedding guests

2/10/2022

Wedding favors often are an afterthought. Personally, I did a candy bar and it was amazing, but had no personal touches to it. Most of the time weddings can have a lot of people and guests can often times feel lost in the crowd. How can you make them feel thought of in the form of a little wedding gift. Here are 5 ideas for thoughtful wedding favors to give your wedding guests below.

  1. Hand write a note to each guest and address it with their name on it for their placement at the table- I had a wonderful couple, Sara and Andrew, do this and it was stunning. They clipped the notes to a tree and had people find their tables via the little note to each guest. The colors of each note matched the wedding colors as well.
  2. Beautifully painted caramels with a little box for each guest. Instead of a candy bar that is free for all, the individual box just shows you went above and beyond for each guest. You could also attach each box with a little hand written note on it as well. Sara did this for her wedding and is the featured picture for this post as she inspired this blog.
  3. If you are more of a digital person than I would look into little cards for guests at the table with a QR code on it for guests to view while they are sitting down. You could have a personal message to each table or a funny video to make guests laugh or home videos of you two as a kid for your families tables.
  4. Something fun for your guests to do- Sara did a flower station where people used dried florals to make their own hair pins for the wedding and to take home. It was so fun and personal as she placed it next to her families photos of couples in their family.
  5. Make it all about food- Have a surprise hidden box under the table of that tables favorite snacks. You could have a personal note in their too. but make sure to have all different snacks based off whatever that table loves to eat.
