Every year I choose photos that moved me from the past year and write a blog about it. I do this more for myself, so that I can look back and see what I was drawn to shooting. This past year, it was more moments of joy and laughter as well as quiet and anticipation ones. As the years go on I have become more of a storyteller documenting things as they are then posing moments. I have learned to see things through the couples eyes, by truly learning about them before their wedding day so I can document it as best as I can. I love documenting moments with family and friends even more now due to the way COVID taught us all not to take anyone for granted. Most of all I just love that this job, that does not even feel like a job, fills my soul with joy and brings joy to others. Hope you all love my top couples photos from 20221
