As a husband-and-wife photography and videography team, we come together with you to help you plan a day that has nothing to do with stress, and only focuses on joy, celebration, and your love. Whether we’re hiking to the top of a mountain, kayaking down Mendocino’s Big River, or standing in a quaint vineyard to get you married, we’re here to be your biggest supporters every step of the way.

What does the day of the wedding look like working with you?

WHAT IS THE EXPERIENCE LIKE TO BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING DATE?

Once you inquire with us through our booking page, we will email you right away to set up a time for a video call. We always meet face to face before booking so that our couples can get to know us and we can get an understanding for your unique vision before designing your custom proposal. After that, we ask for a completed client agreement and retainer fee to officially secure your date on our calendar.

Then, it’s go time! We spend the next handful of months leading up to the wedding planning our B-roll shots, storyboarding your story, having conversations with you about timeline and day-of plans, and helping out with any extra details and decisions along the way that you might need. We’re always an email or phone call away for any questions or insight!

What is the timeline like for receiving our gallery and film after the wedding?

We really pride ourselves on delivering wedding galleries and films faster than most in the industry. This has always been a surprise to our couples, but over the years it has become part of our brand. While most photographers deliver galleries 8-12 weeks post-wedding, we aim for 2-3 weeks. For films, the norm is 12-15 weeks while we get them delivered in just 4-5. We want the excitement of the day to still be buzzing when you see the film and the photos. Because it’s our goal to serve our couples from the initial call all the way up to the final delivery of our work, it makes sense to us to deliver an impeccable end product as quickly as possible.

Do you ever travel to shoot weddings?

Yes! We love to travel as a destination wedding photographer and videographer duo, and have been all over the country and world to shoot small weddings and elopements. While we’re located just north of the San Francisco Bay in Sonoma County, we’ve been lucky enough to go to places like Oregon, Mendocino, Joshua Tree, Colorado, Seattle, Mexico, New York & Nashville. We cannot wait to hear about where your wedding might take us.

Why small weddings and elopements?

We love shooting luxury elopements and small weddings because we find that the couples have the freedom to be more unique with their wedding weekend experiences. It is incredibly rewarding helping couples vision for their wedding weekend come to life and storyboard it as a team. We hope to take the stress off of our couples by helping them out with their destination wedding and making it an experience since we have done so many. With small weddings and elopements, we love having the flexibility and ease throughout the day for each couple to take it all in. We love that it gives our couples more of a sense of wonder throughout the day as a whole. Overall, we just love the ability to tell stories in a documentary-style way, and luxury elopements and small weddings give us more freedom to do so.

Every wedding is a bit different—sometimes it looks like a beautiful luxury ceremony in the vineyards, followed by a gourmet dinner served on a serpentine table with elaborate florals. Other times, it is an organic luxury coastal wedding with a dinner under the stars afterwards.

More than anything, we hope to help you create a day based on what you want it to look and feel like, and then we’re there to follow along, document, and help you feel relaxed and have fun. Ultimately, this day is all about you, and that’s how it should feel. We are here to communicate ideas for what your vision of your day looks like with your planner, help research fun experiences in the area for guests, and make sure you feel comfortable the whole way, even with two cameras in tow.

How do you approach storytelling?

As a married photo and video team, we approach storytelling a little differently than most. We study our couple's stories for months before the wedding day even arrives and map out a storyboard of how we could tell it. We do this by having video calls with our couples, seeing how they interact, asking them intentional questions on our questionnaire, and reviewing music they like before the wedding day. We ask questions like who are the MVP's of the day, what brought you guys closer as a couple, a trial you’ve gone through together (and how it grew your relationship), and what are your favorite things to do together. We are aiming to always tell our couple's story with intention and have it be unique to who they are as a couple.

What are the benefits of working with a photo/video team vs. separate photo and video companies?

We’re all about collaboration, consistency, and comfort. Aka, we work as partners to tell a seamless story while also making sure you feel totally at ease in front of our cameras. We work together leading up to the wedding getting to know your relationship and storyboarding your journey. We also print off your timeline, notes, story, and inspiration photos and review it months before, as well as the morning of the wedding day so we know your wedding better than we know our favorite hiking routes. On the wedding day, we show up early to shoot B-roll and brainstorm different ways to tell your story best.

Instead of two businesses coming together for the first time on your wedding day, we are one business communicating thoroughly for months about how to cohesively capture your story together. From the start of booking our couple's weddings to the final editing process, we work side by side to make sure our photos and films look alike and reflect the same story.
