Shown below are a few of my favorite locations to do couple’s sessions at. When choosing your location think about what outfits you want to wear and what feel you want the session to have. Some of my favorite sessions are the ones where couples pick locations based off of fond memories. For example, one couple picked their favorite coffee shop in the city, then we went to a redwood grove they had their first date at and ended up at the beach where they fell in love. For Eli and I’s anniversary session years ago we choose Sol food and an in home session because we both loved being together at home in that season and eating yummy Sol Food for our monthly date nights. The location you pick does not have to have a memory attached to it at all. I am just giving you all ideas so that you know you can be as creative as you want to be!
Due to COVID-19 many parks, beaches and public areas may be off and on open & closed. With the unknown of this whole situation, I am asking people to have a back up private location for your session.
Occidental, California: Redwoods and Small town city
Rooftop San Fransisco, California
Rooftop Petaluma, California
Marin Headlands, California
Point Reyes Seashore, California (Foggy day in Winter vs. sunny day in Spring)
In home sessions: My favorite sessions because it usually has amazing light and people are more comfortable with music blasting and in a comfy place. You could use your home or rent an airbnb with amazing light and decor that fits your style.
Chrissy Field- San Fransisco, California (They combined it with a local coffee shop. We could combine it with ice cream, tacos or you name it!)
San Fransisco, California downtown
Sausalito boat dock and Sol Food (I do not have pictures at Sol Food yet so be the first to try it out! They have a fun green wall to play with!)
Sunset river beach or Johnson’s beach- Guerneville, California
Golden Gate Lookout (Marin Side) These Images are taken by Emma Quinn of Eli and I here. Usually this spot is packed with tourists, windy and foggy so I have not shot here yet but hoping to find another dreamy day like this soon. She combined it with Marin Headlands which is what I would combo it with too.
