If you know me you know I love supporting local businesses. If you are going to spend money on food might as well be amazing and local. I wanted to publish this blog post to show my couples and guests where I love to eat when they come to wine country for a destination session or wedding. As well as showing everyone what the best local restaurants in Sonoma County are I also wanted to thank these local businesses for being so amazing at what they do. They each pour their heart and soul into their art. I want to just let them all know how much I appreciate them and am thankful they started their amazing businesses! Here is part two of best local restaurants in Sonoma County blog post.
The Bagel Mill: First of all the decor in this place is spot on. I want my house to look like this shop. Second of all, the owner is just the sweetest and makes the best bagels ever. I personally tasted two of these bagels and let me tell you its worth getting up early for! I recommend the Cali or the Lox but they are all amazing!
Cafe Aquatica: This place is magical. It is so peaceful and makes you feel like you are escaping reality. The owner is just the sweetest. (Seriously there are so many amazing business women I have meet through making this blog post and I am loving it!)
I had the crab sandwich and it was to die for. Some of the best crab I have had and the bread it came on was so good. I almost wanted to go back and ask where their buns were from. This place is worth making the trip to Jenner and making a day out of eating all their yummy food.
Village Bakery: I have been coming here for years. I have been getting their seeded sourdough for so long I have lost count of when I started coming here. Coming here is my treat to myself weekly.
Coming into the bakery the owners made me feel like family and I already cannot wait to go back just to talk to them more. They literally reserved a whole table for me to eat/shoot and it was so much fun!
I love getting there breakfast burritos, salads, avocado toast, soups, breads, cookies, baked goods etc. . I literally could eat anything off the menu it is that good. Stop in and eat some yummy food that makes you feel like you are at home.
The Barrio: My go to Mexican restaurant. The Barlow is my happy place. Its where I go to get away and work or just to enjoy the sunshine. You can literally eat your tacos and sit on the grass. How cool is that? All the places on the Barlow strip I have fallen in love with but this one holds a special place in my heart because their twist on Mexican food is the best. Their gourmet tacos with arugula chicken and beans is amazing! Plus, I just tried their chicken sliders and that blew me away too. You cannot go wrong with this place. Amazing people running the shop and some amazing food!
Himalayan restaurant: When I want some amazing Tiki Marsala and Naan bread I come here. Have not found a better place to do it then these guys. My hubby loves their soups, salads and spicy versions of most everything on the menu (he branches out more than me). Most everyone that comes here have told me that they cannot stop going back and I fully agree.
