Caitlin & Sunti’s in home session is close to my heart. There is so much I could say but I am just going to say Caitlin has a heart of gold and has gone through so much this year.

Sunti and Caitlin’s love story told by Caitlin:

“Sunti and I met in 2007 working at Mary’s Pizza Shack in Santa Rosa. We became best friend and each others wingman. We even called each other by nicknames, PBF and PGF (pretend boyfriend and pretend girlfriend). We started dating in 2008, got engaged in 2012, and married in 2014.

We recently bought our first home and it’s truly a bittersweet story. Unfortunately, we lost our Coffey Park rental home in the 2017 Tubbs fire, along with my parents home, mother in law, and brother in laws home. We are total “homebodies” and all our familiar places were gone. We were completely devastated!

We stayed with family for a few weeks then a friends house in Cloverdale, until a giant rat decided to bunk with us, that was it! Mr. rat kicked the home search into high gear. I DON’T do rodents! We put in countless offers on other homes, but because so many people were in the market we kept getting outbid. We were ready to give up when we heard about a home through a client of mine. I contacted the owner and viewed the house right away. Sunti and I completely fell in love with the giant windows and light, and the fact it was in the same area as our last home. The owner was so generous, she didn’t list it and let us have first dibs. She even left all the furniture in the house (which we have replaced with our own) knowing our situation. We continue to add our personal touch with paint, decor, and photos, and look forward to the years to come. We feel incredibly lucky and blessed to be in our new home!” -Caitlin
