This couple is just the cutest. They are about to get married and I literally could see their excitement in their eyes as they told me their proposal story. I had a blast getting ice cream with them and checking out the local record store. Hope you enjoy Igor & Rachel’s Seattle session and their love story below.
“The first time we met was at the Ram Restaurant. I had no idea who Igor was BUT he knew who I was. He stopped by to drop a present off with a friend I was having dinner with. He was lovestruck with my beauty! He says it was like meeting that cute girl on Instagram you think you’re never going to meet. He was SO nervous. He was shaking and only said hi for two seconds and then left really quick. I thought he was so into my friend that all I really made note of was that he had nice shoes on.
It was a month or so and he reached out on Instagram. 100% flirting with me telling me I was funny and cute. I was busy and didn’t respond to one of his last messages. Note, I didn’t know who he was at the time. He couldn’t wait and messaged me for a second time asking me to coffee. I said yes real quick and realized I didn’t know who he was LOL. All his pictures on Instagram were with other guys OR he had sunglasses on.
We met up for coffee and tea and his smile was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I was so scared I wouldn’t know who he was. But, he walked right up to me grinning so BIG. I melted a little on the inside. We talked and walked along the pier for hours. About everything and nothing. It took a little bit to warm up to his sideways smile, sweaty palms, eyes that change colors, long lanky body, bomb.com arm muscles, sweetness, kindness, and gentleness. But, when I did the rest was history.
It was a Thursday evening after a LONG day of driving around and attempting to fix all the world problems. I had on my lounge clothes which included sweats. Igor had made some real quick last minute plans to watch the Bachelor with me and then a car show he likes. It was about 15 minutes to midnight when he asked me if I wanted to grab a bite of REALLY BOMB CRAB MAC N CHEESE that the Ram has. I told him I was down as long as he bought me a drink. He agreed. I ALMOST WENT IN MY SWEATS. But, my sister kept telling me all day certain sweaters and what not to wear. So, I decided to change not thinking anything of it. When we arrived at the Ram it was incredibly deserted. I thought they were closed but the door wasn’t locked. We walked around the corner and there were rose petals and candles leading the way to the table we had met for the first time. In my excitement, I do remember saying “are we getting engaged!” Igor started is special, however, out a friend was still setting up the video camera and surprised Igor. After that all I remember is Igor get down on one knee, stating he loved me and asking if I would marry him. I quickly said YES YES YES YES.
