“Logan and I met in high school. One day, I was studying in the library and he came in the library and said hi. He told me he was in one of the classes and we ended up studying together for the rest of the semester. He also did track with me that Spring so we were constantly with each other! From that point on we have gone to college separately and together, gone to Africa separately and together, and have had many more adventures together. I knew he was the one in Africa. Being halfway around the world from each other can be such a test of one’s relationship. But God ended up confirming so many times that we were meant to be. By the time I got home I was ready to be married! It was a little over a year later that we had our wedding. His love has taught me so much. I could not have imaged a better life partner!” –Michelle

I loved listening to this love story because my husband and I had a very similar story. My husband and I both grew closer to each other the second time I went to Africa. As soon as I can back we both knew that we were meant to be together. It was about a year and a half later that we got married!

Now four years later and Eli & I are planning on going back to South Africa on a mission’s trip later this year. It was so amazing meeting Michelle and Logan because they have such a heart for Africa. They work with an organization that is working to stop sex trafficking.
