Arches – Michelle and Mason

1/04/2017

This Arches session was one I will never forget. I planned to shoot in Devil’s Garden in Arches National Park however Google maps had another plan for us. Three hours into driving to this location we realized that the road google maps lead us to is a dead end right behind the national park with no way to actually enter the park. We had traveled on a dirt road because you know when google maps tells you to do something you obey it. However, this time google maps was wrong and we were stuck with very messy cars in the middle of nowhere. The worst part was I was losing cell service and could not find Michelle and Mason. Thankfully after an hour of trying to find where their car was I had service and was able to find Michelle and Mason. We all laughed about it but it was a crazy afternoon to say the least. This session despite its rocky start turned out to be one of my favorite sessions of the year.

Beautiful shots! Love all the colors of the rocks. You captured their love and joy beautifully.
