These two gave me all the feels as we listened to music at the beach, danced and skipped rocks into the water. So loving Johnson’s beach lately!
“Kirk and I met at college group right after when we were 18 and 19. On one of our college group outings , part of the group was going one place, and the others were going hiking at Helen Putnum.
Kirk was one of the guys going hiking and I thought he was cute, so I may as well go too. The girl we were carpooling with to hike decided on the way that she wanted to go with the other group , so she dropped herself off and said, “Have a good time !” She left us with her car, even though we both had only met her that day as well! Kirk shared with me how Jesus had changed his life on our hike and I thought he was just the best thing ever . He loved Jesus and had some sweet colored skin. One of my aunts later referred to him as milk chocolate. That pretty much sealed the deal.
We are 10 years into what has been quite the ride . We have been through some deep valleys, but Our God has graciously reached down and redeemed and is continuing to do so.”-Lisa
