Eli and I started dating over 14 years ago. We met at a concert at a little white church. He was always the guy on stage playing music and I was always his biggest fan that admired him from afar. Finally, after some time our friend introduced us and since then we have been in each other lives. We love to play basketball as a family, hike, travel, eat a lot of Sol Food and garden together. We also love eating screamin mimis ice cream as a family as our treat.
My mom grew up right next to Mendocino. We grew up visiting and reliving the beauty of Mendocino county. It is the reason why I started to fall in love with shooting here and why I wanted to write this guide in the first place so people not only visit Mendocino, but fall in love with it too. I hope you find this guide helpful and your stay enjoyable!
Things to do:
Fort Bragg Skunk Train: If you want a historic train ride through the redwoods than look no further, here it is! I would bring a picnic basket and make a day of it. We did this as kids and loved it! https://www.skunktrain.com/
Fort Bragg skunk train rail bikes- If you want to ride through the redwoods and take a hike at the end of it this is the option for you. I personally did this last year and it was fun. I would opt for the longer one as we wished the trail was a bit longer since we were having so much fun. I would also bring snacks as they let you explore for a while at the end of the route. https://www.skunktrain.com/railbikes/
Hike the cliffs- From downtown go straight out to the cliffs in sight and take the many trails out on the coast.
Kayak the caves and coast- My past couples have done this and raved about it! https://www.kayakmendocino.com/
